Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 DOE
Type: Full-time (flexible working considered)
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established regional law firm who are continuing to grow their Conveyancing teams across Somerset and Devon.

The Roles
Exmouth & Chard
We are seeking Conveyancers / Junior Solicitors / Legal Executives who are confident managing their own caseload of residential conveyancing matters.

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
Ideal for fee earners looking to develop within a supportive team

Taunton
A more senior opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer or Solicitor, ideally with some exposure to supervising or mentoring a small team.

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
Opportunity to take on added responsibility within a growing department

Responsibilities

Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
Handling sales, purchases, and associated matters
Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and other parties
Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and compliantly
(Taunton role) Supporting and guiding junior team members

Requirements

Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Conveyancer
Proven experience running a caseload independently
Strong communication and organisational skills
Team-focused, professional, and client-driven approach
For the Taunton role, some team management or mentoring experience is desirable

Working Arrangements

Roles are ideally full-time and office-based
Flexible working / some WFH can be considered for the right candidate
