Company Accountant
We are looking for a qualified Company Accountant who has significant experience working within a manufacturing environment. You will head up the Finance team of 4, working as part of the SMT of this hugely successful SME business. You will be a hands on Accountant, with a 'can do' attitude and desire to work closely with the Board to progress the business even further. It's a superb team, with lovely people and is a great opportunity for the right person.
The Role:
07:45 - 17:00 Mon to Thurs, 08:30 - 12:30 Fridays (39 hours)

We are looking for a qualified Company Accountant who has significant experience working within a manufacturing environment. You will head up the Finance team of 4, working as part of the SMT of this hugely successful SME business. The Role:
- Provide financial support / information and analysis to the business to enable relevant commercial and operational decisions to be made.
- Working with the Finance and Manufacturing teams to create transparency of manufacturing variances, identify risks, eliminate inefficiencies and reporting for the month end close.
- Improve business controls throughout site.
- Lead, manage, develop, coordinate the accounting team.
- Customer and credit risk management.
- Ownership of providing quarterly forecasts and yearly budgets as well as other financial reports/presentations.
- Partnering with site budget owners to ensure delivery of financial results to target.
- Helping the site to deliver its investment promises and track against the site KPI’s.
- Review and approve inventory write off and provisions.
- Support the annual statutory audit and accounts preparation.
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified essential.
- Significant experience working within a Finance team within a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced Excel user.
