The growth of the company is going to plan, and, following the promotion of the Production Planner into a managerial role, we're very pleased to be looking for a new CNC Production Planner, to take on the responsibility for planning production for the CNC Machine Shop which includes CNC Milling and CNC Turning operations.

Location: outskirts of Tewkesbury, commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Worcester and surrounding areas
Salary: They're looking to pay circa £42,000 based on your capabilities and experience so there is room for discussion to meet your salary requirements, just get in touch for more information.

CNC Production Planner - Role & Responsibilities:
- Using specialist planning software to produce loading plans for each CNC machine including manual operations (deburr, inspection, packing, dispatch etc.)
- Monitoring workload against machine shop capacity
- Monitoring production output against the plan, flagging items for prioritisation
- Monitoring ‘delivery to customer’ performance, measured against planned customer schedules
- Reporting production levels to senior management team
- Checking stock for material availability
- Creating purchase orders on stock control system and generating correct paperwork
- Creating requisition orders for sub contractors to complete outsourced operations
- Attending production meetings to report current and planned figures
- Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Daily use of the company's MRP system
CNC Production Planner - Skills & Experience needed:
- Experience of working as a Production Planner in a CNC Machine Shop environment or very similar
- Strong organisational skills, able to establish priorities, whilst managing multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of producing and interpreting reports
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word
- Experience of working with planning software (ERP/MRP) the brand isn’t important
