An established UK-based sub-contract precision CNC machining business operating from modern facilities and supplying precision-machined components to a broad customer base. The business has built a very good reputation for quality, reliability and technical capability across CNC milling and turning.
Working in partnership with many customers for decades has allowed the company to plan for the future.
With a clear long-term investment strategy in place, they have purchased brand new CNC mills and lathes annually, and this programme of ongoing capital investment is set to continue. As a result, you will be working with modern equipment and a business that is committed to continuous improvement.
With a stable workforce, a healthy order book, long term customer relationships built over many years and structured succession planning in place, this hire forms part of a carefully managed leadership transition.

  • CNC programming capability at the machine and using CAD/CAM software
  • An understanding of production planning, workflow and job prioritisation
  • Experience in a supervisory, team lead, production management or similar role
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement
