Job Title: CNC Programmer / Operator (Fanuc)
Location: Longton
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm | Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Longton, providing high-quality metal cutting, bending and welding solutions to a wide range of clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator with Fanuc experience to join their team.
The Role This is a key position within the machining department, responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machines using Fanuc controls. The successful candidate will ensure components are produced accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Programming CNC machines using Fanuc controls
- Setting and operating CNC machinery
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Selecting appropriate tooling and setting offsets
- Producing components to tight tolerances
- Inspecting finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Carrying out routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Operator
- Strong working knowledge of Fanuc CNC control systems (essential)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
