This company has become renowned in their industry for making their own premium quality patented technology in a field which makes a real difference in the world, working on meaningful products and projects that you can be proud of.

With clean, bright, modern premises and a mix of well-maintained machinery and brand new state-of-the-art CNC equipment, their facilities provide a very nice environment to work in.

Could you be their newest employee?

You won’t necessarily have heard of this company because jobs only come up when someone retires or when there’s growth, but this company has been supplying the highest quality precision engineered products to a wide variety of specialist industries for many years from their purpose-built facility just off junction 9 of the M5 motorway in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.

A new employee

As a new employee, you'll be buddied up with an experienced member of the team until you're fully trained and settled in. They’ve recently taken on a CNC machinist who is thriving with the training and support provided and is already progressing well.

This company is now in a position to take on a CMM Quality Inspector to join the team on the day shift as they prepare for growth in business over the next five years.

• Modern, clean premises
• Brand new, state-of-the-art CNC milling machines
• Well organised and well-equipped shop floor
• Encouraging technical assistance always available
• Easy access to all the tooling and equipment you need to do your best work
• Creating very high-quality products which truly change people’s lives for the better
• Long-term job security, working for a company creating products for sustainable industries

What experience will you need?

You’ll need to be an experienced CMM Quality Inspector with a strong background in inspecting precision machined metal components.

You’ll need to be confident reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings, including geometric tolerances (GD&T), and working to tight tolerances in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Experience using a wide range of inspection and measurement equipment is essential, from CMM operation and surface tracing equipment use, to using hand held tools such as verniers, micrometers, gauges and other precision measuring instruments.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspection, completing inspection documentation, and ensuring parts meet customer and internal quality standards before release.

Experience of maintaining accurate inspection records is important, along with a methodical approach and a keen eye for detail to ensure consistently high-quality, high-precision components are delivered to the customer.
