The job will involve you operating CNC grinding machine tools, operating CNC laser cutting tools and using presses to produce high quality metal component parts. About you To be successful in this role, you’ll have experience of either operating CNC grinding or CNC laser cutting machinery in a precision engineering environment such as aerospace, oil & gas, automotive or similar. You will be familiar with operating either CNC laser cutting or CNC grinding machines and with using precision measuring tools to check your work for quality according to engineering drawings. You might already have experience of setting and programming CNC grinding machine tools and/or CNC laser cutters but if you haven't, we're happy to consider someone who has experience of operating CNC grinders or CNC laser cutters who is willing and able to learn how to set and program the equipment. Job Title: Warehouse Operative and Driver Location: Avonmouth, Bristol Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Contract Type: Permanent Starting salary: £19,000 A local Bristol firm which has been trading successfully since the 1960s is continuing to grow and they are looking to hire a permanent full time Warehouse Operative to join the small team. The role will be mainly warehousing work and, if you have a licence, the driving element of the role will initially consist of just a few hours per week, making deliveries to customers locally although your flexibility to carry out more driving to cover holiday and busy periods will be great. Working hours for Warehouse Operative and Driver 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Duties – what will the Warehouse Operative and Driver job be like?
