Our client, based in Bridgwater, is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their team. The role will involve overseeing the entire warehousing operation and managing a small team. This will include managing stock coming in, overseeing the unloading of lorries, ensuring goods are packed and labelled correctly and dispatched in a timely fashion.
The company are looking for a "hands on" person who will work as part of the team to ensure the warehouse function runs smoothly and to consistently ensure high standards in terms of quality and accuracy are delivered upon. We are looking for someone who will look to make system improvements and cost savings where necessary but without service levels being compromised. Organisation and planning skills will be key as will the ability to pay high attention to detail. The successful candidate will need to be IT Literate and be keen to learn. They will also be great at building relationships with other departments to ensure streamlining of service to the customer.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to build a career with a well established and supportive company. The salary will start at circa £25,000 but with the view to increasing after a successful probationary period. This role will be working Monday to Friday, on a day shift.
