For our newly created role of UK Continuous Improvement Partner we seek an expert in financial delivery through the application of CI practices. Someone who will work for our business in an ongoing capacity to improve products, services and our processes. We are a Global giant within manufacturing and this role will be based in Kent. However, as this role will be to take the lead on Continuous Improvement across 3 manufacturing sites and our commercial function in the UK & Ireland, flexibility to travel to all sites are a must.
You will be responsible for business mapping of our systems and processes, setting service related health metrics within each process. Ensure standardisation within our templates, tools and practice is compliant via document control. Your operational excellence and experience within a similar environment will allow you to carry out advanced data collection where you will analyse project feasibility, budgets and costs. This in turn will enable you to identify and facilitate short, mid and long term business improvement.
By working collaboratively within our business you will need strong influencing skills which will be used whilst managing simultaneous projects at all levels, from senior stakeholders to shop floor. Ideally we seek someone with a Six Sigma qualification, green belt being the minimum level. Other formal training in operational excellence would be an advantage. Ultimately we need your knowledge on how to support teams in overcoming obstacles, plan and execute impactful projects and facilitate a positive cultural change within our manufacturing business.
