Experienced Business Development Manager/Account Manager, with a background in the Aerospace or Defence markets sought for a fantastic opportunity with an innovative, global firm.

As Group UK Sales Account Manager, you will be home-based, but must be within a commutable distance of Reading for time on site as required.

Your remit will be to maximise sales opportunities within the group's existing customer base - Predominately based within the UK, but also with a small selection based in Eastern Europe. 30 - 40% travel is expected.

This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the successful growth within the Aerospace & Defence markets of a high technology business who already have an impressive track record of sales achievement and customer delivery.

The business design and manufacture bespoke solutions to meet customer needs, which are incredibly diverse in application. With a broad range of customers from Aerospace and Defence, through to a vast range of Industrial business, the company aim to be the market leader in Europe and they want you to help them achieve this.

This role will be a proactive, forward thinking position, which requires a strategic and collaborative approach with the company's sales teams, site operations and European colleagues.

Key expertise required:

  • Technical Product Sales/Account Management experience, within the Aerospace or Defence Markets
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in selling technical products to OEM's, with a consultative approach that leads to high conversion rates
