I am currently looking for a Transport Administrator for my client in Evercreech. This is a Temp to perm position.
The job will involve; updating operational spreadsheets; recording milk volumes; data entry; checking data transmissions and recording and filing run sheets; updating route sheets; maintaining sufficient stock levels of disposables; reconciliation of petty cash; collection and submission of timesheets; customer reporting; dealing with customer queries and other regular and ad-hoc administrative duties.
Working in a small but close knit team, we are looking for an individual with a strong team and work ethic who can apply a flexible approach to their work. There may be times, that due to operational issues, your duties will fall outside of your usual remit, so adaptability and the ability to use your initiative will be key. Good telephone and interpersonal skills are required together with the ability to work on your own initiative. Previous experience of working in a Transport environment would be desirable but is not essential, but you will need a good intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel, strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be solution driven.
