As a result of a promotion, my client are looking for a driven Text Writer to join immediately and hit the ground running.
Your main job purpose will be to write and amend text according to company style guidelines and the client brand.
To ensure that our text is maintained to the agreed level of factual accuracy.
To check and amend proposed text updates, within the agreed service level timescales.
To support the Regional Product Manager/Product Executive in ensuring that their programme's text meets all business requirements.
Spend a proportion of time sitting in the web content team, working on assigned content tasks as part of the on-going text improvements for SEO
Work with an assigned Product team member in our geographical sales departments to update text as directed
Liaise with our suppliers across the world to confirm accuracy of designated text
Proof-read and re-write text submitted by various people in the company, so that it meets the company style guidelines and adheres to the company brand
Self-track progress on the main tasks in geographical programmes and ensure that the Text Editor calendar is respected
Be a good team player among the text editors, assisting with the Helpdesk in particularly busy times
Ensure the RPM has agreed key task completion before moving to the next programme
It is envisaged that the time split between in-programme work and 'helpdesk work' will be approximately 90% programme/10% helpdesk. This may vary by time of year
It is envisaged that the time spent in programme will be about 2 months per programme and will move in rotation according to the Text Editor calendar. Likely to be assigned to 3 or 4 programmes, so approximately 2 'stints' in each programme per year
