As the Quality and Compliance Engineer you will liaise closely with Head of Engineering to facilitate the recording of quality and test documentation to meet the requirements of legislative compliance.
To assist with the development of test procedures and assist in the design, development and recording of test procedures.
Manage the documentation for the quality system, product control and product change process.
Create and maintain manufacturing build and test documentation including standard operating procedures, build instructions, test procedures and equipment specifications.
Daily support to the Production department.
Investigate problems, analyse root causes and derive resolutions.
Manage all feedback ensuring this is built into continuous improvements and quality assurance systems.
Lead product compliance certification and audit activities.
Maintenance of the Company's internal parts, drawing and revision system.
Manufacturing assembly experience
Proven experience of writing manufacturing / test documentation and procedures.
A good working knowledge of the use of quality standards.
High level of competency with Microsoft Office.
Good communication skills and have a high level of attention to detail.
A familiarity with standards compliance e.g. CE certification processes, particularly in the medical devices sector.
Ideally a further education qualification in an engineering discipline, experience of production engineering within high value, low volume manufacturing environments.
Attention to detail at all times.
Ability to work as part of a small team.
