We are seeking a Technical Sales Convertor to join a successful firm, as part of a collaborative Technical Team. This is a fixed-term appointment for 12 months, with the possibility of extension thereafter. 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
As Technical Sales Convertor, you will be responsible for following up on quotations provided to customers by the Technical team to convert these into orders. The business prides itself on the superior levels of customer service and innovative solutions it provides, so candidates should equally be driven to uphold these levels and go the extra mile to ensure prospects for future sales are maximised, enjoying building rapport at all levels.
This is an outbound, business to business sales position that requires an ability to assimilate information and work with a Technical product base, so applicants should enjoy learning and have the confidence to converse with Engineering professionals.
With clear (but realistic and acheivable) targets and conversion rates to work to, candidates should have excellent time management skills and be driven to excel. This role requires an equal mix of customer service skills and sales ability. It is NOT a cold-calling position.
Any experience within either a sales or customer service position, within Engineering or Manufacturing would be advantageous, but is not essential.
