Are you a solution sales professional with experience of selling technical products into the construction industry? An exciting, newly created role has arisen for just the person working with the National Accounts team for this UK fuel distributor as Technical Sales Manager. Salary £45-50k plus 30% bonus paid quarterly, car/ allowance (£6900) plus other fantastic benefits!
This is a new market sector for this organisation so your expertise as a Technical Sales Manager is a key role within their National Accounts business as you will be the only specialist working the construction sector.
Your experience of selling technical products/ solutions (Hard FM, M&E etc) into the construction industry is going to be vital for this role as you will need to have a good understanding of the sector in order to position the product/ solution correctly. Ideally you will have sold into Construction 100 companies previously as this will be your target market.
With a strong sales background you will be used to working to 6-12 month sales cycle selling products/ solutions on an annual contract basis with a high ticket value (£1m+). Your experience of pitching to senior level professionals including FDs, Ops Directors and Procurement Directors will aid your ability to tailor your solution based on who you are meeting.
With at least 5 years experience selling into the construction industry and 3 years selling technical products this role would suit a Technical Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, National/ UK Sales Manager, Business Development Manager.
Ideally you will be based in London/ South or North West but candidates from other locations will be considered. You will hold a UK driving license and be prepared to stay away from home if required as this role will have UK coverage.
