Are you an experienced, confident and credible pricing professional with experience of delivering and implementing strategic pricing strategies?

Our client is seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager to be based in Cheltenham on a full-time, permanent basis. The Successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the profitability and sales volume of the business; this will be done by delivering existing and approved pricing strategies.

Person Specification:

  • Experience/exposure to a modern accounting system
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organisation, both from a financial and non-financial background
  • Good admin skills and computer literate, particularly with Excel
  • Resourceful with ability to work individually own initiative and as part of a team
  • Committed and determined
  • Able to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

To implement strategic pricing vision and ensure delivery of the below:

  • Manage and deliver a strategic pricing program,
  • Analysing product sales with relation to pricing decisions
  • Sales Improvement
  • Embedding value based pricing theories
  • Strategic business partnering, to achieve optimal pricing performance, at all levels
  • Product sales
  • Pricing performance analysis
  • Take responsibility for increasing the hit rate of the business
  • Pricing performance analysis
  • Proactive Management of profit leakage
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis
  • Monitoring and Reporting of Pricing related KPI's - EPI, SPI, PPI, ROA etc
  • Analysis and reporting of key indices and their effects
  • Conduct of annual pricing review
