Our client is looking for a stores person to join their team in at Papworth. To be considered for this roe you must have experience working a stores person, stock control or a very similar job. Working in a large multisector organisation you should be able to work under pressure in calm and professional way. Duties vary but will include:
Check goods received against suppliers delivery note e.g. for accuracy of delivery and suitable shelf life.
Ensure storerooms are adequately stocked at all times and goods stored under the correct conditions in the appropriate location following stock rotation procedures.
Maintain safe working practices when unpacking, checking and storing goods.
Monitor stock levels within the department to minimise over stocking order in the correct manner when necessary and update records accordingly.
This role is working 7.30 - 16.00, Monday to Friday and is for around 2-3 months. As part of this role you will be required to undertake a enhanced DBS check. Please apply with CV or contact Graham Byng on 01480 358458
