An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a SHEQS advisor on a permanent basis, based in Yeovil for one of the UK's largest construction organisations.
You will be working within the enabling works division for this multinational organisation. Having been established for over 100 years this company have built strong working relationships with many of the UK's major infrastructure clients. These working relationships have been possible due to continuous high quality project delivery and by creating a sustainable, supportive, 'zero harm' environment. For this reason Health & Safety and the quality of their staff's working environment is of the highest importance. Now a new position has arisen for a SHEQS advisor on a permanent basis.
You will have previous experience and knowledge of working within the electrical and utilities sector. You will initially be working on a rail power line replacement and extension project in Yeovil. Your duties will be to ensure the working environment on site is up to the highest of standards and complies with internal and external regulations. You will be in regular contact with the operational management staff and external customers to ensure Health and Safety is being adhered to. You will be supporting and conducting site audits and relay information to senior management and support functions.
