The purpose of the role is to provide sales and commercial support to customers and sales engineers, in line with the company's "Customer First" strategy. You will create quotations, process orders and deal with telephone enquiries, whilst working closely with colleagues in related departments. You will also follow up on quotations provided to customers and up-sell by offering sensible product suggestions.
The ideal candidate for the role of Sales Support Administrator will have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), the ability to build effective working relationships and a solutions-orientated, pro-active approach to resolving queries.
This role is based within a fast-paced, sales team and applicants will need experience of a similar, full-cycle sales administration/support role, ideally within an Engineering/Manufacturing firm, the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a demanding environment and pride in providing exemplary levels of service to all customers - external and internal.
