Meridian Business Support is actively recruiting a Corporate Relations/ Sales Manager for our highly established client within the hospitality industry.
Based in Newport and reporting to the Business Development Director, the successful candidate will be overall responsible for promoting and developing new business for the resort.
Responsibilities will include:
- Contact and source new clients to attend and join the resort
- Ensure that current clients are aware of all sales and events upcoming within the resort
- Plan and manage activities which will support Corporate Relations to develop a strong and loyal client base for the Resort.
- To promote and sell various features of the award winning Resort
- Invite and entertain clients to promote the Resort and its luxury features.
- Attend Events and exhibitions to promote the Resort
- Develop existing and new Clients for the Resort and record accurately on the current CRM
- Attend Weekly meetings to discuss impending appointments and to review previous weeks activity
- Attend Monthly Corporate relations meetings to discuss and provide details for previous and upcoming in report format.
- Communicate and liaise closely with the Events and Reservations teams to ensure they are kept up to date with activity and upcoming events/ appointments.
- Negotiate rates in accordance with the needs of the Resort and liaise and with the Business Development Director
- Conduct showcase and hospitality events to prospective and current customers
- Be aware and achieve personal and Resort targets
The above are key responsibilities and does not include other duties required and allocated by the Senior Manager
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a Hospitality background and worked within a similar Sales & Marketing role. Applicants must be confident, self motivated and passionate about promoting events to raise the already established success of the Resort.
