Do you have knowledge and experience of Regulatory Affairs/ Compliance ideally within the medical or pharmaceutical industry? We are recruiting for an entry level Regulatory Affairs Officer to join an innovative medical device organisation based near Newcastle upon Tyne. Salary approx £25k plus annual bonus, 25 days holiday and more working 8.30-4.30 Mon-Fri.

As Regulatory Affairs Officer, you will be working with senior team members, providing support to the business with adverse events/ patient safety, compliance as well as submission, registration, device listings and site licenses. This will involve review and analysis of product complaints, clinical reports, organising the review and approval of labelling, advertising and promotion for compliance in line with applicable regulations.

You will act as the RA representative for the site on new product development and change management initiatives, establishing and maintaining device listings and licenses in accordance with government requirements and supporting documentation of regulatory strategies.

Previous experience within a compliance, regulatory or quality assurance role is essential ideally from science, technical or medical field. You will be degree educated, and have the ability to apply practical RA experience and knowledge to one or more areas of regulatory affairs. Candidates with a QA background who wish to move into regulatory affairs will be considered. Strong writing skills are required with excellent IT skills.
