The function of working on Reception is incredibly important. You are the face of the company and are the initial impression a customer gets, as they enter the business and meet you! We are looking for a receptionist in the Canterbury area and due to our location a car is a necessity.
You will need to be naturally confident and friendly, hard working, professional, and nicely presented and someone who would fit into a family run business. There have been many changes over the past 2 years and due to several promotions and internal movement, this position now needs someone who wants to commit for the long term. Your role is reception based but you will undertake a multiple administration support role. Helping out the finance team and the HR team with all matter for general administration.
You must be a positive, upbeat and proactive. A person who is will to engaging in conversation with anyone at any level. They also need you to have good Microsoft skills and be organised and driven to undertake the tasks set; which will vary each day. If you have worked in a position such as order processing or data entry this would be an advantage.
Working hours are Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.00pm daily (Please note that there is a seasonal peak where they work for 13 weeks Aug-Oct one Saturday in three from 8-12 noon however the following Friday you leave at 1pm to get this time back)
Salary is £16,000 to £18,000 per annum experience dependent and holidays are 28 days including bank holidays.
We are looking to fill his position very quickly and registration meetings and interviews with the business will ideally take place week commencing 22nd August.
