Purchasing Coordinator / Leominster / £18,000 to £20,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our client, a renowned food manufacturer based in Leominster. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to monitor raw material stocks onsite, place forward orders and call offs from suppliers and reviewing stock levels versus forecasted demand to ensure continuity of supply for production.
To be successful in this position, you will be well organised with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously. You will also be able to recognise and resolve problems quickly and you will be able to interpret data and present reports clearly and concisely. Preferably you will be Degree Qualified and it is essential that you have excellent IT skills specifically Microsoft Excel.
This role will suit candidates with prior experience of working in purchasing, procurement or supply chain and it is commutable from Leominster, Hereford, Tenbury Wells, Bromyard, Ludlow and Kington.
