As Public Relations/Communications Officer you will assist in providing an effective PR service for the charity. Your remit will include, but not be limited to, researching and writing content for the charity's website and social media feeds, liaising with donors over fund raising activities, and developing communication and fund raising materials on behalf of different parts of the hospital. Most of all you'll be keen and motivated to improve the way the charity engages and communicates with their interesting and diverse audience.
This excellent opportunity has become available for a communications professional looking to kick-start their career with a leading NHS charity. Ideally with a PR, journalism, English or related degree you will have experience copy writing for a variety of audiences.
This role is a full time and permanent opportunity and working hours are seven hours per day to worked between 8.00 and 6.00 (flexible start and finish) with an hour for lunch. Annual leave will be 25 days a year and the post carries access to the NHS Pension Scheme.
