Working with our global science-based service company who's turnover has gone from £15m to over £200m pa since the 90's, I am looking for an Procurement & Contracts Manager who has capability & drive and has previously worked within a corporate Procurement & Supply chain environment.
This position is within the Procurement team, which is a team of nine and led by a Manager that is "hands on and likes to lead by example" As part of this tight knit team who are accountable for the management of the external supplier spend across the group. This role is an exciting opportunity to be amongst the team that have such an impact on the future business success.
The Procurement & Contracts Manager's role is to manage the sourcing, negotiation and implementation of supply contracts and the management of preferred supplier relationships across the Group.
To be successful in this role you will need to have gained the following skills;
- Strong commercial acumen with strong business awareness
- Developed influencing skills to be used both internally and external at senior levels
- Relevant qualification including CIPS or equivalent professional experience.
Situated in the head office in Teddington which boasts great transport links, and based on a leafy eight acre site over looking Bushy Park and close to all shops, restaurants and pubs, you will enjoy coming to work for us.
Salary up to £40,000 per annum plus a generous flexible benefits package (including 25 days holiday)
