We are urgently seeking a Payroll Assistant to join a well-regarded, local firm who offer all of the above and more.
If you have experience of running a weekly payroll (whether in house, for a Recruitment firm or an outsourcing firm), excellent communication skills and high levels of organisation and attention to detail, this could be a great next step for you.
Working as part of a friendly team, for a company who operate a strong internal culture of collaboration & respect, you will be responsible for processing the weekly payroll for c300 staff.
This will include electronically verifying timesheets and overtime rates, and updating the details of starters & leavers, plus producing RTI reports for the HRMC.
As part of the role, the Payroll Assistant will be responsible for checking new Tax Codes, Court Order deductions, Sick Pay and shares or pension deductions.
For two days of the week you will be responsible for running the payroll, while the other three days will be spent supporting your team with other finance-related duties.
