We are seeking a dynamic and well organised administrator/ PA for a forward thinking business based near Tiverton.
The role will involve supporting a loss assessor and other members of a small team on a daily basis. It will be very varied and you will need to have the ability to work in a busy environment juggling tasks and changing priorities. You will be setting up new client files, typing letters (with some audio typing work), monitoring and responding to emails and chasing outstanding claims payments.
An accurate approach and a head for figures is crucial for your success in this role as you will be responsible for issuing payment instructions for disbursement of claims funds as they are received. You will also need to have excellent communication skills as you will be talking to a wide range of individuals including clients, loss adjusters, surveyors and contractors, making appointments and dealing with enquiries that arise. An empathetic approach along with the ability to extract concise details from clients will be of paramount importance too. The role will also involve supporting the MD with PA duties on a remote basis.
You will need to be customer focused with excellent numeracy and literacy skills. Good IT skills are essential and you will need a good working knowledge of MS Office especially Word and Excel. Insurance claims experience or knowledge would be advantageous for this role but is not essential.
