Are you enthusiastic, friendly and hands on, with experience managing relationships with suppliers and coordinating/managing an office?  An exciting Office Manager opportunity has arisen at a dymanic and fast growing company in the Clapham area of South West London.  

You will join a busy office team, working as part of a team of two in this varied role to ensure the smooth running of the office and reception area.

Responsibilities as an Office Manager:

  • Take ownership of the annual building maintenance plan, looking for cost efficiencies
  • Ensure the building and surrounding areas are maintained
  • Manage the company cleaning contract, maintaining good relationships with the supplier
  • First point of contact for company related insurance, liaising and negotiating with brokers to manage renewals
  • Manage office Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensuring all legal compliance
  • Active member of Health & Safety committee
  • Monitor office expenditure and budget
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with service providers
  • Assisting the sales team with drafting contracts
  • Cover Office Coordinator duties including assisting with internal events and organising meetings

Requirements of an Office Manager:

  • 2 years experience in office coordination/management
  • Experience of supplier management an advantage
  • Health & Safety knowledge advantageous
  • Strong IT skills including Excel and Outlook
  • Confident, positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
