Joining us as our newly appointed National Account Manager and you will be maintaining existing relationships with our customers, so that they would not conceive of going elsewhere with their business and you will also grow that business too. Your goal is to create long term relationships, with a portfolio of assigned National Business. You will need to understand the customer's demands, plan how to meet these demands ensuring the best outcome for them and for the company, and generating turnover and profit on sales for the company as a result.
We are consistently growing our Customer base and the importance of hiring the right people to build long term relationships has been the key to our success, as we have been trading successfully and profitably for more than 50 years. Whether you are talking to Directors or their Assistants, you will engage at the right level and set expectations on what great delivery looks like and ensuring it is met. You will be an engaging presenter and highly experienced negotiator as one of the more important aspects of this position, is to secure the contract and having commercial awareness with margin and turnover knowledge will ensure you to strike the right deal.
With your exceptional commercial understanding, when it comes to bringing new clients on board, customers like dealing with people who understand their needs and preferably the sector in which they operate. It would be advantageous to us if you come from the FMCG sector or perhaps through the products you have worked with, you can shows us you can grasp the important aspects of our sector.
As a busy person you can ill afford to waste time dealing with irrelevant issues, so being able to demonstrate that you can manage meetings effectively with aims and goals achieved will be assessed on interview. A positive meeting held with customers and internal departments will ensure that matters are addressed and that efficient and effective profitable decisions, are made quickly. Your time will be spent dealing with customers face to face and over the phone from the office managing all of their account needs.
We are looking to fill this position permanently, paying a basic salary of around £40-50k and we also have a strong benefits offering plus all the normal business tools such as a car, phone and IT etc and the back up of a successful management team.
