Are you a hardworking, driven sales professional with proven experience in media advertising sales both in print and digital?
We are currently recruiting for a Media Sales Executive/Account Manager based at a successful, leading international media group. You will be responsible for selling advertising packages across print and digital channels, as well as selling sponsorship, delegate and guest places at a series of annual events. In this exciting opportunity you will develop new business as well as manage key accounts.
Responsibilities as a Media Sales Executive/Account Manager:
- Account management of a strong existing client base
- Selling and developing relationships over the phone
- Renewing business and expanding accounts with existing clients
- Cold calling potential new advertisers and events delegates/awards entrants
- Sourcing sales leads by carrying out competitor research
- Reporting sales figures on a daily basis
- Selling into annual supplements including trade show guides and market reviews
- Representing the company at exhibitions and conferences
- Writing detailed proposals for potential clients
- Liaising with clients and designers on artwork
Requirements of a Media Sales Executive/Account Manager:
- Experience hitting and exceeding sales targets in a media sales environment
- Experience in both print and digital advertising sales
- Track record of building strong working relationships with clients
- Experience of selling onto and using recruitment platforms is ideal
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
