Our client, a long established Engineering and Construction business are looking to expand their Yorkshire water team by appointing a Mechanical Project Engineer. This requirement has arisen due to a number of recent contract wins and a sustained increase in workload.
Joining an established team, the successful candidate will report into the Project Manager and duties may include;
> Management of fast turnaround projects from inception to completion
> Ensuring all sites/ projects adhere to the company's H&S policy
> Liaise with client's engineers/ PM's
> Site meetings and visits
> Completion of contracts and documentation
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and secure business who, due to framework wins and contract awards, are growing exponentially. The long term prospects are huge as the Ops Director has ambitious growth plans with the order book in place to ensure this growth.
Due to the nature of the work, candidates from a site background are preferable whilst any design experience would be a bonus.
Experience in the water/ wastewater industry is essential and knowledge of Yorkshire water contracts / projects would be a distinct advantage.
