Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Water & Industrial

Location: Wolverhampton

Salary & Package: £16.00ph - £16.50ph based on 40 hour week, after 40 hours x1.5 and Sat up to 4 hours, after 40 hour Sat & Sunday x2

20 day holidays plus Bank holidays.

Call out rota 1in 4. £100 standing payment and x1.5 for 4 hours as a minimum call out payment.

Shared Van with Electrical Engineer. You will collect one another in weekly rotas, swapping van when necessary.

All travel time paid in accordance with JIB.

We are recruiting for a national Civils and M&E organisation .

They are looking for a reliable mechanical maintenance engineer who is able to work under their steam as well being able to work alongside an electrical engineer on dual PPM's and call out.

You will be working within the water & industrial sectors. Predominantly on the canal systems across the Midlands.

If you are fed up of WTT works, you will get to see some really idyllic locations on your travels. The company has held the contract for 20 years and have a minimum of 5 years on their current contract,

Scope of works include:

    • Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Plant Maintenance (RPM) activities.
    • Fault-finding and troubleshooting on Pumps, valves and mechanical plant mechanisms
    • Configuration, testing of mechanisms

You will ideally possess a clean a driving licence.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ 3 Mechanical engineering
