Temporary Contract ( possibility of Permanent )
Reporting to the Marketing Manager the role of the Marketing Executive is to work alongside the Marketing team to ensure the delivery of a high standard marketing function across the Meridian group.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Monitor and evaluate marketing activities;
- Maintain and update the content of Meridian's website and Intranet, in conjunction with the other members of the Marketing team;
- Research and write blog articles for the website and social media.
- Liaise with, and support the branch network in relation to marketing materials, external communications, and exhibitions;
- Produce branded corporate presentations for both the Sales and Senior Management teams;
- Act as 1st line support for any Broadbean or job board related queries, liaising with the providers and solving any problems relating to the software / subscriptions;
- Play an active role in the co-ordination of Meridian's weekly newsletter, and any other internal copy;
- Effectively plan and organise tasks, ensuring adherence to relevant time frames;
- Promote the effectiveness of marketing and standardised branding across the business, encouraging employees to become brand ambassadors, and communicating the core values of the business;
- Develop a consistent look across all products, ensuring creative treatment remains fresh and inspiring;
- Strategically increase presence and brand awareness in the relevant market places;
- Lead, plan, implement and evaluate campaigns within time and budgetary constraints, working closely with Business Unit Managers;
- Research competitor activities across all Business Units, reporting back to the business on all competitor activities, and making recommendations;
Person Specification:-
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience in Marketing including PR, Brand Management, Digital & Social
- Good knowledge of marketing techniques;
- Approaches work with creative flair, and a high attention to detail;
- Able to work effectively to strict deadlines, and time scales;
- Displays a positive and professional approach at all times;
- Able to develop excellent working relationships, both within the Marketing team, and wider business;
- Able to work on multiple projects at any one time, with the ability to prioritise work accordingly;
- Has the ability to be a team player;
- Excellent IT skills;
