Meridian health have a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to work in the public sector. The role will be based in Gloucester on a full time basis, until the end of April 2016.
The main responsibilities will be to provide professional and comprehensive financial information and advice to budget holders, the production of accurate and timely management accounts and costing information, investigating variances from budgets and reporting on these in financial meetings with budget holders.
You will also need to be able to work as part of a team and be prepared to cover for and support colleagues as necessary. Good interpersonal skills are necessary as you will also be required to work with staff across the finance department and budget holders across the organisation.
The successful candidate will need to be hard working and reliable, have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work to deadlines. They will be computer literate with a good knowledge of spreadsheets and be educated to NVQ level 4/AAT level or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
