Are you an experienced and skilled legal secretary looking for a new role? Are you adaptable and looking for a varied role? We are seeking a legal support assistant/ secretary to join a forward thinking and dynamic firm based in Taunton.
The role will involve acting in a "float capacity" supporting in various departments so we are looking for someone who would be happy to move between departments and is able to work with changing priorities and within different areas of Law. They will also need to be able to be adaptable to support different members of staff and their different ways of working too. The role will involve dealing with clients, diary management and initial drafting of correspondence as necessary. You will need to have fast and accurate audio typing skills with experience of legal digital dictation systems.
Due to the flexibility and adaptability required to be successful in the position, we are looking for candidates to have previous legal secretarial experience so they will be able to pick up the terminology and procedures quickly. Previous audio typing and administration experience is essential as are excellent IT and communication skills. We would also need candidates to be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a busy and varied role where no two days are the same!
