Meridian are currently recruiting for Inbound Customer Service Advisors/Call Handlers for our client based in Milton Keynes. This exciting new opportunity comes with benefits and gives anyone who is passionate about customer service a chance to strive in their career.

As the first point of contact, you will receive comprehensive training to allow you to provide health advice to anyone with non- urgent health related enquiries, as in line with the Department of Health policies

Responsibilities

  • You will be dealing with Inbound calls, providing excellent customer service and exceed customer expectations
  • Be able to prioritise calls making sure that the quality of service is not affected in anyway
  • To have a confident approach and be able to control calls and have the ability to work with callers who may be distressed
  • To be able to defuse situations should they arise as customers may be emotional at times
  • To pay attention to detail making sure all enquiries are logged correctly

This is a fully flexible role; the centre is open 24 hours per day

In return our client will reward you with a hourly rate of £8.12ph- £10.70ph dependant on shifts worked, and an excellent benefits package- to include free eye care, pension scheme as well 20% off in well known stores and much more
