We now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist/HR Manager on a stand-alone Part-Time basis at an organisation dealing with the international wholesale, trade and distribution of video games, consoles & video game accessories.  

This is the ideal opportunity for an existing HR Manager, or a fantastic step-up opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor.  It's a fun, personable environment where you will get the chance to make the role your own. 

Responsibilities as a Part-Time HR Manager:

  • Absence management
  • Coordinating the staff appraisals process
  • Advising and coordinating disciplinaries and grievances
  • Creating staff contracts & managing the internal recruitment process
  • Implementation of HR policies, procedures and processes, and ensuring they are up to date with current legislation
  • Promoting equality and diversity
  • Maintaining employee files and documentation
  • Organising and carrying out staff induction process
  • Organising staff training as required
  • Referencing, DBS and eligibility to work checks
  • Coordinating the leaver process

Requirements as a Part-Time HR Manager:

  • Previous HR advisory/generalist/management experience essential
  • Knowledge of HR policies and legislation essential
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in all aspects of HR administration
  • Attention to detail
  • CIPD qualification would be ideal

FTE salary is c. £28,000 - 30,000
