We need a new Manager to complete our existing team. As part of our Finance department we have a team who solely looks after importation of fresh produce. Leading a Team of 5 you will use your in-depth knowledge of 3PL, HMRC regulations and provide a sustainable service to achieve on time delivery; ideally auditing the entire process previously making certain conformance for the business.
Working across multi-sites you will ensure process is adhered to minimising risk to the business. With solid operational understanding, across the entire supply chain process, you will manage the import, customs and clearance procedures to guarantee compliance through your team. Your style of working will be collaborative, a natural relationship builder, and if you have worked internally within 3PL even better, as you will have all the procedural knowledge with regards to shipping and port activity and the technical language that accompanies this, which we would really like to acquire.
You must have strong team ethics, be someone that can get everyone to pull together in the most challenging of situations. We offer excellent benefits and enhanced holiday to 25 days plus bank holidays; our business offers a great working environment and the scope to develop and grow. Starting salary is between £35-£38k per annum and ideally you will come with the IoE Diploma in World Compliance & Regulations (Level 5) or similar.
