We are currently recruiting for a part time Finance Assistant to join a small manufacturing company based in Taunton, this is a 12 month maternity contract.
Main duties will include:
- Credit/Debtor control
- Managing Purchase, Sales, Nominal & Cash Ledger entries
- Making Bank Payments
- Completing VAT returns
- Bank Reconciliation
- Managing Company Expenses for all employees
- Experience of working within an Accounts or Finance based role is required
- Knowledge and experience of dealing with UK VAT Accounting policies
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Confident with a professional telephone manner
- Good organisation skills
- Ability to work well within a team
Working 30 hours a week 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday
Pay rate is £8 - £9.50 per hour depending on experience.
