An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Supply Chain Manager to join an expanding food distributor based in Wrexham. This is a permanent role with a competitive salary for a quick thinking individual willing to go the extra mile!
As Assistant Supply Chain Manager you will oversee a small team so you're supervisory experience will enable you to make an immediate impact. You will be responsible for the import and export process including customs requirements, prioritise queries and requests from freight forwarders, warehouse and suppliers, liaise with suppliers regarding stock control, planning and accounting queries, managing insurance claims on inbound goods, manage inbound cost rates and also effectively analyse data and create reports as required.
To be successful in this role you will have previous supply chain experience, with good working knowledge of imports and exports administration and customs documentation. Excel expertise will be useful in this role in order to produce reports, graphs, formulas, and pivot tables. Any food industry background is desirable but not essential.

Working hours are Mon - Thurs 9am-5pm; Fri 8am-4pm.
