The role is predominately telephone based and will involve you contacting a range of businesses in your target area to tell them about the event and encourage them to have an exhibition stand. You will need to be able to communicate well with people at all levels, both over the telephone and in writing and listen to their needs in order to sell them the most suitable show/ stand to meet their requirements. You will be responsible for researching new business areas as well as cross selling and upselling to existing clients. You will have responsibility for a certain geographical area of the UK so you will need to know and understand the area, specific needs and employers and clients to make sure you are successful in the role.
This role would suit you if you are looking for a role which allows you to use your excellent customer service skills and established sales ability to achieve results. You will be a natural relationship builder and strive to secure repeat business. In return there is the opportunity to earn between £6-8K OTE in the first year, along with a competitive basic salary.
