ERP Project Team Manager

The Enterprise Resource Planning Project Team Manager (PTM) primary role is to schedule and coordinate project resources, ensuring that the stated business objectives are met.

Ensure all project requirements are planned and executed in a manner that will meet the implementation goals for each project. Key goals are to complete projects within the established time frame, budget and to the satisfaction of the Project Sponsor(s).

This new role within the business & the successful candidate will lead a team of highly skilled Business Analysts, delivering major Enterprise Resource Planning projects across the Europe, Middle East and Africa division. Whilst the primary purpose is to ensure all agreed project requirements are planned and executed in a manner that meets the project goals, this role will also play a key part in delivering service improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, develop, schedule and coordinate an experienced ERP project team, ensuring stated business objectives are met

Work with the ERP Management Team, developing services to our customers within Europe, Middle East and Africa division.

Ensure ERP configuration, codification adhere to company standards

Collaborate and communicate with Stakeholders, Project Managers

Use project scheduling tools to monitor project plans and ensure these are kept up-to-date

Fully develop Project Plans with the Project Manager(s), updating on a regular basis

Agree tasks required and the assignment of these to project resources

Ensuring customisation requirements are to standards, ensuring Oracle JD Edwards functionality is fully explored before customisation.

Systems integration

Ensure all applications impacted by the project are assessed and modified so no business disruption occurs.

Liaise with project resources external to the Team, ensuring assigned tasks are agreed and delivered within the scheduled timeframe

Ensure appropriate volume, stress and risk assessment is performed on projects

Ensure appropriate data and system security is considered and in place prior to go-lives

Prepare and agree detailed cut-over and go-live planning schedules with the Project Manager(s)

Transition the project to the relevant partners (Network & Hosting; ERP Service Team etc.)

Personal Attributes

The successful candidate will have the following attributes and experience:

Implementing ERP solutions in multi-company environments

Extensive and in-depth ERP application experience (Oracle's E1 software)

Team management and leadership

Project Management, Prince II, Agile, PMI

Service delivery and IS process (ITIL)

Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project.

An IT degree or extensive relevant work experience

A creative problem solver with an ability to manage constantly changing priorities
