Electronic Craftsman - London Underground - Acton
Our client, London's Public Transportation provider, are looking for experienced Electronic Craftsmen to join them in their Acton workshop on a 12 month contract. Applicants will need a basic electronics engineering experience working in a workshop environment replacing component soldering and de-soldering, also fault finding on the electrical side.
The applicants must have IPC-A-610 which is valid and in date throughout the period of employment, this is essential for consideration for the role. You must also have a valid and in-date certificate for either IPC J-STD or IPC 7711/7712 (given the nature of the work being performed, IPC 7711/7712 is preferable to IPC J-STD). Without these certificates, applications will be rejected. Anyone who has a certificate which has expired can be considered if they can prove they have booked a training/assessment to renew their certificates.
Candidates must bring certificates with them if invited to the interview, candidates who have booked training/assessments to renew certificates must bring proof of booking to the interview. Candidates who do not have certificates or proof of booking will not be considered and those who cannot bring proof to the interview will be rejected from the application process.
