The position of Sales Executive is a key role working within a new team to grow the Education business over the next five years. The successful candidate will have a track record of building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders and be able to demonstrate evidence of delivering and beating monthly sales targets. They must have a proven ability to sell products and services over the telephone and be able to "close" the deal. The role is about selling the current and new ranges of school consultancy/improvement services and new range of awards.
The role will involve contacting warm and cold leads to sell the services of the company and when necessary attending meetings and networking events with headteachers and other key stakeholders. You will need the ability to communicate effectively with key decision makers and manage the sales pipeline process. You must be confident to pick up the telephone and speak to decision makers, using a consultative approach. It will also be essential that you keep up to date with educational and skills policy and trends, and curriculum changes in order to maintain a credible sales approach when speaking to decision makers.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets in a commercial, preferably educational services setting. Someone who had potentially worked in sales within Further Education or training could also have the right skills for this role. You must be highly motivated and driven to succeed. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
There is commission payable with this role and OTE for year 1 is £6K. Successful applicants will need to pass a DBS check due to working within the educational sector.
