The Company:

Our client is looking specifically for a driven and dynamic Contract Furniture Sales Manager to build and develop potential customers. You will be looking to make a real impact on a business, increasing their bottom line and making 'a name for yourself'. You must be able to demonstrate your business development achievements within the contract bedding or furniture market within as many sectors as possible: hotel and leisure, hospitals, academia, and so forth. Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing and selling a full range of UK contract bedding products
  • Generating new sales and business opportunities in a B2B commercial environment
  • Developing and managing a portfolio of customers / tenders to ensure profitable sales and excellent service is delivered, through a combination of 'customer' and 'commercial' account management
  • Successfully developing and delivering the agreed strategic business plans and commercial targets in line with the overall business strategy
  • Effectively managing customer relationships and adequately securing available resources to support
  • Targeting and winning new business through the execution of the new business development strategy
  • To be an active member of the sales team, delivering sales excellence and continuous improvement across your portfolio of accounts

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in the Contract Furniture sales environment
  • Knowledge of UK FR and legal contract furniture regulations
  • An strong and clear understanding of furniture manufacturing

  • Influencing at all buying levels
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise according to impact
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Solid communication (verbal and written) and active listening skills with an ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally

  • Strong IT and computer skills
