An excellent opportunity for an experienced, professional and confident Contracts Supervisor/Commercial Executive/Supervisor to join an innovative, Global engineering firm. Leading a team of three, you will direct and monitor all contractual activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations between the business and their customers.

Liaising with a wide variety of people both internally and externally in a fast-paced and demanding environment, the Contracts/Commercial Supervisor will have exceptional communication skills at all levels and be confident in this. As the first port of call for queries regarding the terms of proposals received and responses submitted, you will pride yourself on the excellent levels of service you provide at all times.
The ideal candidate for the role of Contracts/Commercial supervisor will have significant experience in a similar role (preferably within Aerospace), a degree in a business-related subject and a solid understanding of the importance of remaining diligent and adhering to legislation and obligations. In addition, you will have experience of leading/supervising a team and coaching and empowering them within their own roles and careers.

The Contract Supervisor must review and analyse contractual requirements including terms and conditions and be able to determine which exceptions are necessary to protect the company's position. The incumbent must develop the company's position and support it at negotiations, particularly when determining an exception to contractual terms.
The Contract Supervisor participates in the review of new contracts and changes to existing contracts to ensure consistency with proposals with particular reference to price, delivery and terms and conditions.
- Oversee and determine the contractual obligations for the business, it's customers, distributors and agents
- Develop and maintain a highly professional approach to contractual matters, liaising closely with other company and corporate resources
- Negotiate contracts, continuation production orders and new business in conjunctions with the relevant teams
- Co-ordinate and issue responses to all incoming requests for proposal for the business
- Act as the primary point of contact for external customers for all contractual issues
This is a full time position, working 8.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.30am - 12.30pm on Friday. This truly is an excellent opportunity to forge a career and reach your potential in an innovative and growing business who value, reward and empower their employees.
