Commercial Manager

As Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for pricing management for all product and display material to customers via a pricing systems. As the central contact for all pricing administration, future pricing strategies will be a major part of the role with increased profitability and market penetration a key objective in order to gain market share. The role will be a key driver in achieving business strategy.


Develop Pricing strategy, business plan and budget in line with Corporate Strategy

  • Define new business procedures, evaluate resource requirements and stimulate implementation or maintenance of pricing system.
  • Develop Pricing strategy, business plan and budget in line with Corporate Strategy.
  • Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make most of efficiency's and ensure timely response to market conditions.
  • Perform partnering with Category Manager and the Sales Team to assure integrated plus profit maximizing approach to market.
  • Oversee and review the developed business cases for new products/projects.
  • Determine the feasibility of new products and determine optimal pricing for the new products
  • Monitor the ongoing competitiveness and profitability of product prices
  • Profitability Analysis across GP, NP & EBITDA

Key skills and experience needed to be successful in this role include;

* 3-5 years working in Commercial/Pricing role.

* Strong financial knowledge and ability to work with numbers.

* Experience of working with a large volume of products at a consistently high level.

* Experience of people management/stakeholder engagement.

* Degree educated or equivalent qualification.

* Be passionate, professional, driven and commercially astute.

* Possess excellent influencing and communication skills.

* Be proactive, adaptable and flexible in their nature.

* Be fully proficient in all Microsoft Office.

* Have knowledge of pricing systems.
