Our client is a golf club looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Chef to join their catering team.
The Bar and Restaurant is busy with a mix of bar meals, golf societies and Sunday lunches. Using fresh ingredients the menu ranges from Ala Carte, Carvery, to more traditional Home Cooked Favourites, and Bar Menu specials.
You will prepare, cook and present great food in line with the clubs standards and you must take pride in what you do. You will uphold great health, safety and cleanliness standards whilst you work in the kitchen and it's imperative that you are a real team player.
In the absence of the Head Chef you will be responsible for the running of the kitchen, and be approachable to club members. For this reason, keeping calm under pressure, a well organised work station and adapting to club members needs is essential.
