We are recruiting Inbound Call Handlers for our clients 24 hour call centre based in Milton Keynes.
The site in Milton Keynes offers a comprehensive advice service to the public, dealing with a variety of situations in a prompt and professional manner.
This is a permanent job paying £7.70 to £10.70 per hour, based on shifts.
Flexibility on shift is needed as nights and weekends are included.
As Call Handler you will be prioritising inbound calls using critical thinking with a computer software support to ensure the provision of a quality driven service.
Addressing the urgent care needs of callers and where necessary take action.
Need to be confident and professional in taking control of calls, sometimes working under pressure dealing with people in distress and giving the relevant advice and actions.
Inform your line manager of any issues and follow escalation policies and emergency procedures as necessary.
Immediate and accurate records must be kept on the system for review.
You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the service and the achievement of standards.
Excellent communication skills with a professional and courteous telephone manner are needed as you will be dealing with a variety of people.
You need a good attention to detail and an ability to work well under pressure using critical thinking skills to resolve queries.
You will need to be able to start work from Monday 14th December.
