The Business Development Executive will provide outstanding support to the business development team for the business.

This is a great opportunity to be involved in every aspect of the sales and marketing process, from PR and general marketing, through prospecting and lead generation, to proposal writing, commercial negotiations and close. You will be working alongside skilled external consultants (PR and marketing) and supporting the senior team and CEO in their business development work

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CRM, identifying leads, ensuring contact and follow up, and providing management information
  • Help manage the sales pipeline including annual forecasting and monthly reporting
  • Lead generation though phone and mail, working with our PR and marketing consultant, and with external telesales support
  • Marketing support for regular communications, specific campaigns
  • Holding initial meetings with clients, and attending larger sales pitches, supporting the business development team and taking on follow up actions.
  • Develop and write marketing and sales documents
  • Gather client feedback, develop and publish case studies.
  • Liaise with existing sites to look for opportunities for growth
  • Support all outward facing information and communications, e.g. website, social media, direct mail,
  • Support writing proposals and commercial negotiations
  • Deal directly with clients and potential clients for initial meetings, proposal development and meeting follow up.

  • Excellent levels of customer service via the telephone and face to face
  • Commercially minded
  • Proficient in I.T - databases, Outlook etc

Working Hours: 8.30am to 5pm
